Survivors is a very complete first person shooter, it should be multi-player because you are going to need help, which supports from two to five people. Survivors will be connecting players over the internet or LAN. This ensures a possible worldwide outreach for this game.
Survivors was meant to be played on a high performance computer, since it is a very complete game to have a fun and scary time with another players and try to survive as long as you can. This game is going to be to students from 13 to 30 years who likes terror/action/shooters games. This is a very good game to people who don’t like to sleep at night, and need something to don’t get bored. Since this game has a lot of violence and have any suggestive themes and, or language I am aiming for the game to be rated by ESRB as T (teen). Additions may include having different kind of tools and weapons to help the team escape from the zombies. Also, one important point in this game is use the tools in the best way you can, to avoid running out of bullets, every player is going to have a different ability. The abilities could be, Doctor, police officer, thief, fighter, and engineer. Every different class has his own special abilities. Every ability is necessary to finish the game in the best way.
Survivors is set in an old town at Texas, And there were a weird phenomenon that turn the day into a night like a eclipse. The game has a lot of different stories, because you can make decisions that change the history in your game. The core mechanic is escape from the zombies running or using items, which is seen in first person by the players. This will be accomplished by having an inventory, the sight of the weapons, the health bar and the stamina bar as the essentials elements of the escaping. The health bar is the how many life points you have left before you die, every time a zombie hit on you, this bar decrease, when it is 0 you have 10 seconds to get some of the other players help to came back to the action. The stamina bar, decrease when you run or you use one of the specials abilities of your player. Once your stamina bar is 0 you only can walk and wait to the stamina bar start increasing again. The inventory contains all your items that you will get during the game. The controls are going to be not difficult to any person who has been played any other shooter game, the movements are going to be with the arrow keys/WASD and you are going to use the mouse to move the sight and fire you will see your inventory with the letter "i" and you can select the items with the mouse pointer and decide what are you going to do Drop/Use/Move. The score in this game is based on how many zombies did you kill, how well did you move in the scene and how many items and abilities did you use. There are two different scores, one is for the player and other is for the team.
I was inspired by a lot of different zombie games, but I want to change the objectives. It has the same basic mechanic as L4D2. You have to take objects and use those during the game. Survivors however is different because in this game, you have to run from the zombies avoiding shoot them to save the bullets and trying to hide in different houses putting objects to block the doors and windows, and in L4D2 you have to run throw the street shooting the zombies and killing them any time. Also the way the mechanic is carried out by the player is set up differently. In Survivors when someone in your team runs out of stamina the team should. Survivor is based off of an actual game; this game is a first person shooter and strategy over the internet allowing you to play with friends. This game make you get into the story and you can’t stop playing for hours.
